Suzie Beck was a goddess as far as all the boys at Garner were concerned. And I was one of the lucky ones...because I always had Suzie in my homeroom...seated closeby..somewhere near Steve Aycock and Bill Barnhill and me. Suzie was also in some of my classes and we got along great. She was always real friendly to me even though I was nobody special. Although she could be distracting to the educational process I count knowing Suzie Beck as one of my fondest memories at Garner.

Suzie was a fun friend. We got to know each other fairly well in 7th grade at Garner. I always thought she was so pretty. We hung out alot on the weekends. So sorry we had to lose her at such an early age. Would have loved to see your smiling face at any of Macs reunions! So glad I had a chance to get to know and love you!

I remember hanging out with Susie sometimes, until she started dating Edgar Boeck, then she spent more time with him and we didnt see her as much.  She was best friends with Leesie Abee who lived on a farm on Jones Maltsberger just around the corner from the football stadium.  All the guys  were after her, she was so cute.  God bless you Susie and I hope to see you again one day.  Debby
