Classmate Michele Yvette Duchaine Witter, age 67, passed away on November 8, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Michele was born on September 5, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas, to George and Suzanne Duchaine. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Billy Witter; and sister, Claudette Singler. Michele is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Bruce; her son, Bruce Witter; step-sons Michael, David, and Gregory Hoffman; brother, Glenn Duchaine; sister, Diane Dykman; nephew, Chris Dykman; niece, Tracie Smith; grandchildren, Shelly Rhodes, and Katelyn and Christopher Bruce; great-grandchild, Wyatt Rhodes; and numerous relatives and friends in France.

I certainly remember Michele as we were in home room together from 7th grade and on until '69. My recollection is that she was a very nice person and we always got along well - even though we didn't really socialize. From the obit it looks like she was by herself, but I hope her passing was peaceful and was surrounded by her kids and grandkids. Peace.
