JANINE BLAIR

DATE DECEASED: SEPTEMBER 30th, 2005

Survived By: Daughter Lesha Blair (an architect in San Antonio) and a son Collin (in film production in Los Angeles). I did not know Janine in high school, but my older son was good friends with Collin (both graduated from Mac in 2001). Janine was also a good friend of my wife (Peggy). She was an NEISD school teacher for many years. Most of her time was spent supporting her kids and in her later years, taking care of her parents. Our kids were swimmers and we spent many hours watching them at Regency Pool and Blossom. Before she could enjoy retirement, she became ill and her health declined rapidly. She passed away surrounded by her close friends and family on September 30, 2005. An "old hippie" to the end, Janine's kids honored her request to have her ashes spread at the coast off of Snoopy's Pier (in Corpus Christi).
