Comments:

Went to SAC right out of high school, but wasn't ready for more school, so lost my draft deferment (the year of the lottery). Got married, and joined the Air Force to avoid being drafted into the Army and being sent to Vietnam. I had a great time traveling the world... Illinois, Calif., Vietnam (yep, went anyway), Thailand, Arizona, Germany, Delaware, Japan. I retired in '94 and came home to San Antonio. I'd managed to get a Bachelor's degree in Business, and 18 hrs of an MBA. But it was the middle of the last recession, and I was not able to find a new home in corporate America. So I started a computer services business. I'd gotten remarried in '87 (first one only lasted 6 years), and have two beautiful daughters. But after building her a big house in the Vineyard, the Volvo, the diamonds, etc., I realized that throwing money at a bad marriage will not save it, and lost both it and my business. Funny how life can throw such curve balls. (At this stage of life I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.) I'm currently bouncing back (for the second time), am still single, in great health, looking forward to an exciting new phase of life. Life is not as simple as we'd been told back in high school, is it (you know, get a college degree, get a job with a big company with good benefits and retire to the good life). I'd love to hear how and what you're doing. Cheers! wamartin2@sbcglobal.net
