"El Presidente"

Back in 1968 when Ken Pearce got elected as our Student Council Prez he probably didn't realize it was a lifetime appointment.  Since the 25th Reunion I have watched him slog through the trenches doing the "scut work" involved in putting together these get togethers for us.  This is not to slight the many others on the team........but someone always has to wear the sometimes thankless mantle of being "in charge".  And when you're out front you get shot at alot.  Having had a belly full of planning various intricate operations in my military career I know what a pain in the ass it is and wouldn't sign up for more to save my life.  But I do know a dedicated leader when I see one.  And I just want to take my hat off to Ken for his dedication and professionalism in taking on all things "brahama".  Just taking point on reunion planning would be a big enough chore...but taking on the website...now that's really something.  You see his faith and goodness at work in his kindness when one of our parents pass on....and he even sees to it we get a little "In Memory" spot when we cash in our own chips.  Who could ask for more from their SC President?  Like I told him when he called me to noify me personally of Tony's death...."that's officer behavior".  I'm sure he has something better to do with his time....like managing his law practice.  So....here's to you Ken...you're a better man than I.
