I either just forgot, or never knew the name of our school newspaper, but I like it - quite catchy, and I think Ken stealing it just one time after 40 years to promote the website is quite . . .  in my words, "forgiveable".  I have really enjoyed reading the profiles, 25 random things, and the subsequent discussions on it.  Somehow it makes me feel like I know a few folks a little bit better than before (like Kathy Killebrew Proehl and her 50 yard line UT tickets), and I can begin to think about them more as a friend now rather than just an ex-classmate.   Please, let me further explain - like maybe the next time Briscoe is mixing up his next batch of perfect martinis, he'll let at least all the Dallas Brahmas know about it, or let Barb know about it, and she could shyly spread the word vocally.

Hi Bren,

It is funny--but, my 50 yard line UT tickets make me feel about as popular as when I was in the 4th grade and my parents took me to see Harmon Killebrew at a softball field in San Antonio. He had come to town with Jim Lemon on a promotional tour--I guess he was just getting good at hitting those home runs! My sister and I were the ONLY girls there among hundreds of little boys. He came over and signed a baseball for us--the next day at Northwood Elementary I was THE most popular girl in school--at least with the boys that loved baseball!

Ken, this is great. You have really put a great site together. And, thanks for helping me get the Class of 1970 site off to a good start!
